Enugu govt plans new  curriculum for primary, junior secondary schools

 Enugu state governmrent says plans are underway to design new  academic curriculum for primary and junior secondary schools in the state.

This was made known by the 

. commissioner for education, Prof Ndubueze Mbah,while briefing news  jon the outcome of the state executive council meeting, presided over by the governor, Dr Peter Mbah,at the government house, Enugu okdr

He said that the state government has decided to change the current mode of learning in the primary and junior secondary schools in the state to project-based system where the school children would have to learn with practical . He described digital method of teaching and learning as the bedrock of contemporary education in the world.

Speaking on provision of portable water the state commissioner for water resources, Dr Felix Nnamani commended the state Governor, Dr Peter Mbah for his unalloyed commitment to ensuring that water begins to run in every part of the state by November 2023. He advised residents to take ownership of all the basic amenities in their localities and guide themñb jealously.

On his part, the state commissioner for finance and economic development, Dr. Nathaniel Uramah said government  has perfected plans to establish a local emergency management agency, LEMA, aimed at assisting the state emergency management agency, SEMA,  in Feb out their job in the hinterlands  case of_ emergencies.

Speaking, the Commisioner for Information Aka Eze free, expressed confidence in the leadership of the the state Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah. He urged the people of the state to support Mbah-led administration. 

The Commissioner announced that the state will mark the 62nd  Nigeria’s independence on Sunday, October 1, 2023  ilow keyed.
