Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Kanayo Uzuegbu, Monday, August 28, 2023, extended his end illegal sit-at-home confidence-building patrol to Orie Market in Akpugo and Eke Market in Agbani, both in Nkanu West Local Government Areas.

Uzuegbu interacted and encouraged traders to always go about their lawful businesses on Mondays like every other business day, assuring them of the provision of adequate security.
Statement signed by the Police Public relations officer, Enugu Police Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe and made available to newsmen disclosed that the Commissooner also patrolled the 9th Mile and some parts of Ezeagu LGA, including Oyofo-Oghe and Awha-Imezi villages that clashed over a land dispute on 11/08/2023.
