Former Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area , Enugu state, Pastor Sam Iyiogwe has expressed confidence in the leadership of Enugu state Governor, Dr Peter Mbah , saying that he,(Gov Mbah) knows the problem of Enugu state and he is ready to serve.
He stated this on Friday in Enugu in a chat on the challenges facing Governor Mbah. Pastor Iyiogwe said,” Our new Governor is not a novice in government. He was a former Chief of staff, former Commissioner. He owns his own business. I have no doubt that he is going to do well.
“The governor knows the problem of Nkanu East Local Government Area, he knows the problem of Enugu state. He is not the Governor of Nkanu East but the Governor of Enugu state,” Iyiogwe said.
“It is a well known fact that Nkanu East lack so many infrastructure. What brought him to government is hunger to serve the people of Enugu state.
“As a Governor, he is not a governor of Nkanu East, but Enugu state. He is aware of road infrastructure, health ,educational , security, water challenges and other challenges. Am sure Peter will take Nkanu East to a new level,” Iyiogwe said.
The Cleric appealed to the people of Enugu state to support Governor Peter Mbah administration inorder to lift the state to a greater heights .
