Human Rights Group, New-Life Community Care Initiative(NELCCI) in conjunction with African Law Foundation( AFRILAW) would on November 25Th, commence the 2023 edition of 16 Days activism.
Executive Director, NELCCI, Florence Ifeanyi Aneke disclosed this to newsmen , Thursday, October 19,2023 in Enugu.
She said they paid a courtesy visit on the Commissioner for children and Gender,Ngozi Enih, to discuss about the 16 Days of activism .
According to her,16 Day of activism. is an annual event set up by the United Nations to end all forms of violence against against women and girls She said they have activities lined up for 16 days .
The activities include seminars on gender based violence, road show, talk about gender- based violence.”We are going to be talking to the public against gender- based violence, to eliminate iit”,Aneke said .

“The Theme of this year’s edition unite to invest on campaign to reduce gender- based violence”.
Aneke said the program will take off at Okpara Square and will end on December 10,2023, Human Rights day.
She was accompanied by Chinwuike Okereke, AFRILAW.
