Fubara vows to probe Wike’s 8- year administration

Rivers state Governor , Siminalayi Fubara has  vowed to probe the eight-year administration of his predecessor,  and  minister of the  Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Nyesom Wike.


Wike served as the Governor of Rivers  state from 2015 to 2023
He handed y to Fubara on May 29, 2023 and ßwas determined to continue to control politics of the South-South state has led to a serious crisis between the duo.
Speaking on Monday during the swearing-in of Dorney General and Commissioner Justice of the 57-year-old state,

Fubara disclosed that the State Government would set up a Panel of Enquiry to probe the eight-year administration of Wike.


A faction of the Rivers State House Of Assembly had earlier screened and confirmed Iboroma as Commissioner
The House, led by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Victor Oko Jumbo, screened and administered oath of office on Iboroma as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice with a promise to probe Wike.


The Governor charged the newly sworn-in Commissioner to be prepared for what is ahead, stressing that he will be overseeing the setting up of a panel of enquiry to probe the activities of the Wike administration.
Iboroma replaces Professor Zaccheus Adangor (SAN), a Wike loyalist, who resigned when he was redeployed to the Ministry of Special Duties (Governor’s office) weeks ago.
