Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area of Enugu state , Monday, held it’s special day at the 35Th Enugu International trade fair which came to a close today. at the trade Fair complex Golf Estate,Enugu.
Speaking at Igbo-Etiti stand, Leader of the team and Head of Personnel Management Mrs Nwagbowo, Jennifer, ,JP, commended the State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah for making it possible for the 17 local government areas to participate at the fair.

She said their participation afforded them the opportunity to showcase their locally made goods and farm produce, which included yams,okro, vegetables, palm wine, palm oil, , akidi, palm fruit, coconut, abacha, plantain among others
Nwagbowo JP thanked Governor Mbah’ for his good works in the state, especially for encouraging the local government council to provide dividends of democracy to the people, for massive infrastructural development he has embarked on. She said Governor Mbah’ ‘s administration has started the construction of Smart schools and Type 2 hospitals in the local government area.

The Head of Personnel Management said Governor Mbah’s projects were of high standard and he has advised them to work and ensure their projects were of good standards and completed promptly,adding that there should not be any abandoned project under his watch.
The Council leadership also thanked the immediate past chairman of the local government , Hon.Ikenna. Nwodo, for executing various projects in tne local. Government.

On his part, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairman, in Igbo-Etiti Local government area, Okolo Nze, in a brief remark, thanked the HPM for inviting the stakeholders. He said they were not invited to trade fair for over 8 years. He thanked the workers for their good jobs at the council and urged them to continue to do more. for the development of Igbo-Etiti.

Former Speaker, Hon. Ishienye Ignatius, said Igbo-Etiti has been participating in trade fairs . He prayed God to provide for the local government so that they will continue to do well and work for the people of the area and participate continuously at the Enugu International trade fair.
In a brief remarks, HRH Igwe (Dr ) Uche Anikwe ,of Diogbe in Igbo-Etiti Local Government Area, thanked the Head of Personnel Management for her good works in Igbo-Etiti Local Government. He said it was the first time he was invited to trade fair. Igwe Anikwe also said Igbo-Etiti is a local government known for hard work and, Agriculture .He encouraged the people of the local government to continue to work towards the development of the area and the state.

In her brief remarks, Mrs Ochinanwata Adeline , Treasurer ,of Igbo-Etiti local government council thanked the leader of the delegation, Mrs Nwagbowo JP for organizing a successful fair., saying it is not easy to invite the stakeholders of the local government to the event. She thanked Mrs Nwagbowo JP for giving the stakeholders the honour to witness the special day.
