Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA) will hold it’s 35Th international trade faire from Friday, 5Th – Monday,15Th April, 2024, with many companies( both local and international)declaring interest to participate .

The Fair which will be held at the Permanent site of the Trade Fair Complex, Golf estate, off Enugu-Onitsha Expressway,G. R. A. Enugu is themed, “Promoting Made in Nigeria Products for Global Competitiveness”
President of ECCIMA, Sir Odeiga Jideonwo made this known ,during the Chamber’s 1st Quarter press briefing and the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair publicity launch held Wednesday,, at ECCIMA house, Enugu
He said the Fair is expected to be declared open by the minister for Industry, Trade and Investment. Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite.
Speaking on the level of preparedness, Jideonwu said, “We have gone through and come to another full circle in the hosting of the Enugu International Trade Fair. The preparations and planning for the hosting of this 35th edition started as far back as the beginning of the 3rd Quarter of last year. I am therefore pleased to Inform you that we have made meaningful progress towards the successful hosting of this
“We are indeed very grateful for the cooperation of members of the fourth Estate of the realm towards the successful hosting of our Fairs. Let me particularly and sincerely appreciate those of you who have conscientiously been publicising our activities. Please accept our profound gratitude.
“It is my pleasure to inform you that a good number of corporate bodies/business organisations as well as government agencies have made very serious indications and commitments to participate in this Fair. Relatedly, the level of enquiries and interest being made from prospective participants is quite reassuring.
“We are confident that the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair would be a success especially when compared with the past 4 editions, as the following indices and factors portray.
“The Fair has been strategically re-engineered in such a way that it will have meaningful and positive effects and outcome for all stakeholders, particularly for exhibitors and participants.” Jideonwu said..
Giving a run down of companies that had declared interest to participate, the President said, Zenith Bank, Dangote Group, SALEM Engineering Ltd, and a number of other big companies that stopped participating at the Enugu International Trade Fair are set to return at the 35th International Trade Fair .
Jideonwo said the Fair would pay more attention to the agricultural sector to boost agricultural production and commercial farming as it remains a critical sector toward diversification.
He promised that the 35th Enugu International Trade Fair would be successful, exciting and result oriented .
