Enugu Gov hails Ilo at 60, commissions TV station

 Enugu State Governor, Dr Peter Mbah’ , Wednesday, commissioned a new Television station in ,Enugu,  reiterating his administration’s  commitment to protecting and supporting genuine local and foreign investment in the state by providing adequate security and the needed infrastructure.

He stated that during the celebration of the 60th birthday of a veteran broadcast journalist, Chief Vinmartin Ilo.

The birthday celebration was marked together with the commissioning of a Television station named after the late CEO of DAAR Communications Limited, High Chief Raymond Dokpesi.

 Represented by thev Deputy Governor , Ifeanyi Ossai, , Governor Mbah’ commended Chief Ilo for the lofty initiative. He reminded other wealthy individuals from the South East to think home while establishing any investment.

Speaking , Distinguished Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe called on Governor Mbah to revive the skills acquisition programme initiated by the former Governor Sullivan Chime in order to get the youths out of the street. 

He urged the federal government to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, saying criminals now hide under his hostage to perpetrator crimes thereby increasing the rate of insecurity in the South East. There

In a remak, the chief celebrant, Chief Vinmartin Ilo commended Governor Mbah for creating a business friendly environment for investors. He thanked God for the journey so far for the past 60 years. 

Dignitaries from all walks of life including a former Governor of Anambra state and immediate past minister of labour and employment, Senator Chris Ngige, former Governor of Akwa-ibom state, Chief Obong Victor Attah,were in attendance.
