Assistant Inspector-General of Police in-charge of Zone 13, comprising Anambra and Enugu States,Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor, Thursday, January 25, 2024, paid a working visit to Enugu State,where he visited the Governor of the State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and commended him for his administration’s support to Enugu state Police Command.

The AIG .also visited the Enugu State Police Command’s Headquarters, Enugu, where he addressed and interacted with Officers of the Command.
Speaking during his visit to Governor Mbah, AIG Aghaulor, thanked the Governor for his continued support to the State Police Command, noting that the support has made the policing successes recorded by the Command possible. He assured the Governor of his unwavering commitment to deligently supervising and guiding the State Police Command towards becoming more effective.
Governor Mbah in a remark said security remains a top priority of his administration, stating that “the moderate policing efforts of the Police in the State have been yielding positive results.” He expressed gratitude to the Police for their commitment to work tirelessly towards securing Enugu State, urging them to maintain the tempo as it is not yet Uhuru.

The Zonal Police Public Relations Officer zone 13, Ukpo-Dunukofia, Anambra State, SP Josephine Ihunwo,disclosed in a statement made available to newsmen through the Police Public Relations Office, Enugu Police Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe on Thursday that the AIG had earlier, while addressing Officers of the Command, commended their efforts in fighting crimes in the State, charging them not to rest on their oars.

He said he was at the State Command Headquarters to encourage and task the Officers to remain professional and do more than they have been doing to maintain maximum public security and safety in the State.
In his welcome address, the Enugu State Command’s Commissioner of Police, Kanayo Uzuegbu, intimated the AIG of the dogged and pragmatic strategies the Command has adopted in its policing and crime-fighting activities. He assured him of the unwavering commitment of the Command’s Officers and Men to remain steadfast and diligent in the performance of their duties.
