Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) South East ,Thursday ,met in Enugu ahead of their upcoming national, zonal and States elections, where they brainstormed on how to move the Association to greater heights.. The group also celebrated the immediate Past President of REDAN, Rev Survy.(Dr.) Ugochukwu Chime on his appointment
National Vice President of REDAN, South East Zone, Pastor Engr. Makuachukwu Chidiebere, made this known in Enugu .
He said, few of them gathered and celebrated Ugo Chime because of his wealth of experience and all the inputs he has made in the housing sector.

According to him,”the President , President Tinubu ,through the minister of Lands and Housing, Arch. Kangiwa appointed Surveyor Dr. Ugo Chime to head the Land Reform Task force, so the land reform taskforce is going to be looking at the existing land proceedings in the nation.That Committee is made up of State Governors, former Governors, traditional rulers in each geo-political zone, and commissioners for lands ,
“So our own brother and friend, Surveyor Ugo Chime was appointed to lead that committee. So, we hosted him to a dinner. That dinner was attended by everybody in the housing industry, contractors, the real estate development industry, past commissioners, family members, everybody was there, because we needed to celebrate him. We needed to celebrate our own.

“It was a brainstorming meeting, where we had interactions. People were suggesting what he needed to do when he gets to the national assignment and wished him the best that when he gets there, he should prove that he is coming from somewhere At the end of the day, we also prayed for him as he takes up that national assignment. We prayed that he will move to higher assignment.
The National Vice President ,South East zone ,,said that the group had earlier held a meeting, at Amadeo event centre, where they discussed their upcoming elections for national, zonal and States Executives.

He said they met with interested candidates, the people who had interest in some positions. They interacted with them and told them what they had for the organisation “and the meeting ended well .The elections will be held in March”, Chidiebere said
