The Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, psc (+), today, 31/08/2023, received a Committee from the headquarters of the Nigerian Navy Abuja, who are in the State to explore the modalities for the establishment of a Naval Base and a Welfare School respectively in Uzo-Uwani and Igbo-Eze North Local Government Areas.
The Commissioner, while warmly welcoming the Committee led by Real Admiral Chijioke Onyemaobi, lauded the Chief of Naval Staff for initiating and making frantic efforts to establish the presence of the Nigerian Navy in the State
. He assured of the Police maximum support and cooperation in this wise.
