Tactical Police Operatives of the Enugu state Police Command have launched a manhunt of the armed hoodlums, suspected to be members of the outlawed IPOB/ESN group, who Tuesday, 18/07/2023, at about 4.30am, attempted to attack Isi-Uzo Police Division of the Command, but were repelled by Police Operatives on duty.
Police public relations officer, DSP Daniel Ndukwe disclosed this in a statement he made available to newsmen on Tuesday,July 18 in Enugu.
According to Ndukwe, “Many of the miscreants escaped with gunshot wounds, while one (1) of the Operatives who sustained gunshot wound is receiving treatment and in stable condition”.
He said details will be communicated later.
