Returning Officer for the Enugu State Governorship Election has adjourned the collation of remaining results till tomorrow, Monday, March 20, 2023, at 8am.
He made the announcement after the collation center returned from the 45 minutes recess it took, Sunday night.
The Returning Officer asked all parties who opposed the results to submit written petitions on the three affected local government areas.
He went on to state that while the center will reconvene by 8am after looking at petitions, “if we can deal with them, we will do. If we have to escalate them, we will”.
Recall that the results of three LGAs Nsukka, Nkanu East and Enugu East were stepped aside for further clarifications based on the allegations of rigging, non-use of BVAS, number of votes being more than the accredited voters
