Labour Party wins 7 out of 8 House of Reps seats in Enugu

Labour Party,LP, has won 7 out of 8 Federal House of Representatives seats in the Saturday’s February 25, Presidential and National Assembly elections in Enugu state.

Chidi Obettta was declared winner of the Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal constituency election.
lReturning officer of INEC, Romanus Eze, announced the result on Sunday.
Obetta pulled 50, 881 votes to defeat Vita Abba of the PDP who had 19,347 votes.

In Enugu East /Isi-Uzo, Prof Paul Nnamchi defeated the incumbent House of Reps member, Cornelius Nnaji,. Chimaobi Atu of Labour Party, defeated PDP Reps member, Offor Chukwuegbo.

Labour Party, LP , also won Igbo-Etiti/ Uzo-Uwani reps seat,
Nwodo Chijioke of LP defeated the incumbent lReps member, Martin’s Oke of the PDP.
In Igbo-Eze North/ Udenu Federal Constituency, Dennis Agbo of LP was declared the winner, polling 28,879 votes to defeat Simon Atigwe of the PDP, who had 14,229 votes.
Labour Party won in
Aninri/Awgu/ Oji River and Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituencies .
