Gov Mbah appoints Aja, Ani,Onyishi, Mbah, others heads of boards,parastatals

 Governor of Enugu State,Dr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah , Wednesday, announced the appointments of heads of some  boards and parastatals in the state.

Press statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Chidiebere Onyia and made available to newsmen on Thursday,August 23,2023, in Enugu stated that the appointments take effect immediately.

Dr. Ajah ,mni

Those appointed are the former Secretary to the State Government, Dr G.O.C. Ajah, mni. Dr. Ajah was appointed Chairman, Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board (ENSUBEB).Laurence Ani,  former Senior Special Assistant  on Research and Communications to the immediate past Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon(Dr.) Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.

Ani, a seasoned Editor and Veteran Journalist, was a former Saturday Editor of ThisDay Newspapers and a former Managing Editor at New Telegraph Newspapers.

He was appointed the Executive Secretary, Council for Arts and Culture. 

Rita Mbah, former Commissioner for Inter- ministerial; Culture and Tourism during Sulivan Chime and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi administrations respectively, was appointed Chairman, Enugu State Tourism Board. 

Dr. Sam Ogbu Nwobodo, former Commissioner for Commerce was appointed General Manager, Enugu State Investment Development Authority.

Prof. Bethrand Ngwu,was appointed  Chief Medical Director, ESUT Teaching Hospital, Parkane ;Barr. Uche Anya, Executive Chairman, Enugu Capital Territory Development Authority;Nnanyelugo Dan Onyishi, Executive Secretary, Enugu State Economic Planning Commission 

Others are Gerald Asogwa, General Manager, Enugu State Housing Development Authority ;
