Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Ahmed Ammani, has assured interagency collaboration towards a peaceful, free, fair and credible 2023 General Elections.
He gave the assurance on Thursday, 22nd December, 2022, during the inauguration of Enugu State Interagency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES), at INEC Headquarters, Enugu.
In his address, the Commissioner, who is ICESS Co-Chair with the Enugu State Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Joseph Chukwuemeka Chukwu, highlighted some of the possible threats to the elections, vowing to ensure that they are tackled before, during and after the elections, through interagency collaboration.
Statement signed by the police public relations officer,Enugu police command, DSP Dan Ndukwe ,on Thursday, said the
REC, assured that INEC, under his watch in the State, will conduct free, fair, credible and acceptable elections come 2023. He sought the maximum cooperation of the security agencies towards having a hitch-free electoral atmosphere before, during and after the elections.

Godwin Egbe, Controller of Fire, Zone D Federal Fire Service; Mukhtar Musa, Acting Comptroller of Immigration; Chukwudi Onuegbu, representative of Director DSS; Anyachebelu Anthony, representative of NSCDC Commandant; Mrs. Mmeka Calista, representative of NDLEA State Command of FRSC.
