Anambra PPRO wins best crisis communication manager award
Jury of Security and Emergency Management( SAEMA) on Monday, 12/12/2022 presented the Certificate of Excellence Award to the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Police Command, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu
as the best Communication manager on security affairs in the south east .
Presenting the Award, during the Police Public Relations Officers’ Conference held in kakanfo Inn & Conference Ibadan, Oyo State, the Chairman of the Panel of Jury, Air Commodore Yusuf Anas Rtd. noted that since the appointment of Tochukwu Ikenga as Anambra State Police public relations officer, he has demonstrated professionalism in managing conflict sensitive reports through effective media relations, constructive stakeholders engagement and responsible timely responses to enquires.
In his remarks shortly after receiving the Award, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, thanked God for his mercies. He also thanked the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, the Assistant Inspector General of Police in -charge of Zone 13, AIG Abutu Yaro and his direct boss Commissioner of Police, Anambra state, ,CP Echeng Echeng for their guidance and believing in him. He dedicated the Award to CP Frank Mba Mni and other persons who had impacted in his career.
In attendance at the ceremony were Deputy Inspector General of Police in- charge of Force Criminal Investigations Department, DIG Johnson Babatunde Kokumo, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State, the Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi and other senior officers/representatives of other security agencies.
