President Tinubu  visits Benue on Wednesday

President Bola Tinubu will visit Benue State on Wednesda to personally commiserate with the people affected by recent killings in the state.

He announced that during the commissioning of the Greater Abuja Water Supply Network Loops 1, 2, 5, and 6 within the Federal Capital City on Monday in Abuja.

Tinubu extended his condolences to the leadership and citizens of Benue, emphasizing the need for peace, unity, and resilience during these difficult times.

According to him, “I sympathize with the people of Benue. I have spoken to the Governor. The leadership and people of Benue should accept our condolences and try hard—very, very consciously—to maintain peace and harmony among themselves.”

Long-standing message of unity, describing Nigerians as “one single, huge family living in the same house, staying in different rooms.”

The President also encouraged citizens to manage anger and frustration constructively.

It will be recalled that rampaging herdsmen reportedly killed no fewer than 200 men, women, children, and internally displaced persons in Yeluwata, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
