Board and Management of Urban Radio, 94.5Fm ,Enugu, Nigeria have confirmed the invasion and disruption of a live program , Prime Times ,and taking away of their Communications equipment Monday evening at 6: 35pm by operatives identified to be from the EFCC., describing it as ‘unethical’..
The station in a statement made available to newsmen, Tuesday, October 15, said “the armed men had barged into the studio and interrupted the live program Prime Times , forcefully abducted our presenters and took away our Communications equipment for reasons they vehemently refused to disclose.”.
They apologized for what they described the EFCC action as “unethical break- in- into our live studio and disruption of your favourite program.”…
The Board and Management hoped that the matter will be resolved as soon as possible .
