He said Abia Local Government would be the host and the school fields within Aba North and South would serve as venues for the competitions.
Uduma said the programme was being planned to avail all the grassroots football coaches in the city of Aba the opportunity to discover raw talents within Aba South and North.
“For now, we are planning to use all the available school football pitches within the two council areas for the programme which will bring out the talents from the street,”he said.
“The programme is non-denominational in the sense that all the grassroots clubs in the state and even individual players within the age bracket will be accommodated.
“There will be a recreational competition where the aged players will entertain the masses to give the upcoming players the glimpse of what is expected of them,”Uduma said.
, “Aba Community Street Cup is an initiative programme to be organised by United Stars Football Academy an affiliate of Nigeria Football Federation through Abia State Football Association’’, Uduma said.
