Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Kanayo Uzuegbu has congratulated Muslims in the State, as they join the ummah to mark this year’s Eid-El-Kabir celebration, describing the festival, which is centred on sacrifice, as essential in these difficult times.
He urged them to use the opportunity of the festival to make sacrifices of love and peace for the security and prosperity of Enugu State.

Police Public Relations Officer, Enugu State Command, State Headquarters, Enugu, DSP Daniel Ndukwe in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen on Sunday, said the Commissioner assures that adequate security has been put in place for a peaceful observance and celebration of the season.
He ordered Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Heads of Tactical and Operational Squads to ensure visibility patrol and the prevention of acts of crime and criminality in their areas of responsibility.
The Commissioner urged Muslim faithfuls and the rest of the citizens of Enugu State to remain vigilant, law-abiding, and promptly report criminals and their activities to the nearest police station.
