Enugu former Gov’s daughter resigns appointment as Commissioner

Enugu State Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Industry ,Hon. Adaora’ Chukwu ,  daughter of the  former governor of the state, Barr. Sullivan Chime has resigned her appointment.

 Chukwu posted  her resignation  from Governor  Mbah’s government on social media  on Thursday without stating reasons.

She wrote: 

“I wish to officially inform the public that I have resigned from my role as Commissioner for Trade, Investment and Industry in Enugu State.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the support I received throughout my tenure.

“I extend my best wishes to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, and the entire State Government as they continue to drive progress in our dear state.”

The Governor had on Thursday, July 17Th, forwarded a list of four Commissioner- nominees to the state House of Assembly for approval.

Hon. Chukwu during her tenure , aligning with the vision of the Governor, attracted investors to the state.
