A Non- Governmental Organisation (NGO) Aneke Paschal Onyeka Care Foundation has donated educational materials to the pupils and staff of School of Guidance and Islamic Orientation, Enugu, with a charge on them to take their studies seriously inorder to be responsible ,well developed active citizens.
Programme officer of the Foundation, Obinna Ogbu while presenting the materials to the beneficiaries on Wednesday at the school premises located at Asata, Enugu, said the aim of distributing the items to the pupils to empower them educationally,
He said the NGO had visited and donated educational materials to some schools in Enugu north, Enugu.south, Nkanu East , local government areas. Ogbu added that they will go to Ezeagu Local government and present similar materials to schools pupils. Ogbu adviced the pupils on the need to acquire education and become professionals in different fields.

Speaking on the Aneke Paschal foundation, , Ogbu said it was founded in 2024 and was legally registered with the Corporate Affairs in 2025.
According to him, the foundation was commitment to inspire and provide educational support to students , indigent and under privileged students.. He urged the pupils to put the educational materials in good use, read their books so as to be successful.
Speaking, the Head teacher of the school, Yunus Abdullah, who spoke on behalf of the school management, thanked the donors, Aneke Paschal Onyeka Care Foundation for the gifts. He said the materials will help the pupils in their studies. Abdullah urged the pupils to take their studies seriously. He thanked the foundation for the kind gesture and prayed God to bless them.
Speaking on behalf of the pupils/ students, the head girl, Ibrahim Bintu Waziri, expressed joy that their school for the first time ,was being remembered. She said no organisation has visited them before or donated educational materials to them before. She prayed God to bless Aneke Paschal Onyeka Care Foundation.
“”They are encouraging us to have education. They are encouraging our younger. ones to have education.I pray God to bless them.”, she said.
Bintu said that “no gift is small.” According to her, exercise books are expensive . The cost of one 80 leaves is N600. When you multiply that by four, you know what it will give you. With the books available, you can save the money and use it for another thing.” She thanked the donors for the gifts..
The pupils were very happy to receive7 the the book. They promised to always read their books.
