Later Rain Royal Chapel Inc.on Sunday rewarded the Director -General , the Royal Ambassador , Jonathan Okwudili and other humanitarians for selfless services rendered to Abia people and the society at large.
The Honours were given through their Bishop, Esther Edeh during their mothering Sunday celebration at Ogbor Hill Aba, Abia.
Okwudili who is a founder of many humanitarian foundations in Nigeria expressed gladness that the chapel acknowledged their works in the state.
“I feel excited to know that humans and God are seeing our efforts and I have received many awards for humanitarian service but this one from the chapel was special.
“This is a religious award and it is stimulating me to go extra miles beyond the level we are in empowering people,”he said.
Okwudili advised people to always do good, assist the vulnerable, less privileges, widows, orphans in all ways they can.
Speaking, the state coordinator, New Hope Partners Support Group ,Isaac Emereole expressed excitement for the awards giving to their founder.
“For me, Our founder deserved the award because, he has touched and changed many peoples’ lives through his numerous foundations,”he said.
A member of board of trustees, Royal Ambassadors Family Enlightenment Foundation ,Dr. Nkeiru Acholonu,
said all the members were happy to witness the award given to their Director.
She said the foundation has helped many people to unearth their hidden God- given skills and talents.
Dr. Acholonu urged the Abia State Government to look into the pains of the masses and ensure they have a healthy living through empowerment.
Six people were honoured. Among the awardees are; Chief Munachimso Ejim, as” the Lions of our time’.
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Abia Signages and Advertisement Agency Victoria Onwubiko
honoured also, as ” lion of our time.”
Bishop Alexander Obomanue as ” Gospel Builder”, Lolo Franca Ojen as “Adaoma Jesus and Decent Azubuike as “Queen mother of Later Rain Royal Chapel 2025.”
