36th Enugu Int’l Trade Fair ends as ECCIMA announces  March 20, 2026, kick- off of 37Th edition

President, Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, ECCIMA, Sir Odeiga Jideonwo, Monday, declared closed,  the 36Th Enugu International Trade Fair, which started on April 5Th,2025, announcing March 20 to March 30, 2026. ,dates for the 37th edition of the Fair.

Jideonwo disclosed that while declaring closed, the 36th edition of the Fair. He said that registration for the 37Th(2026) fair had already begun, disclosing  that those who registered early will enjoy a 10% discount.

“I confidently invite you to the 37th Enugu International Trade Fair which has been scheduled to hold from the 20Th to 30Th of March, 2026.   Registration has already started as you can enjoy about 10% discount on our early bird registration which will last till November 30, 2025,” Jideonwo said.

He described the 36th edition as a success, though with some challenges . He assured that the challenges identified would be tackled before the next trade fair . The President added that the poor economy of the country posed it’s own challenges.He thanked God for the successes recorded, and commended Enugu state government for its support, the sponsors, security, media ,exhibitors and participants for their support. 

“The poor State of our national economy was a point of concern to us few weeks before the opening of the Fair, yet you surmounted all hurdles with us to jointly rebuild and revive the Enugu International Trade Fair, “Jideonwo said 

He expressed the hope that  the 37Th edition of the  Fair would be better than the just concluded Fair. Appealing to the federal government to develop the trade fair complex as it did in Kaduna and Lagos, ECCIMA President said the Chambers embarked on the construction of  3,000 Square meters Premium Indoor Air Conditioned Pavilion and hopefully, it would be completed before August, 2025.

Fielding questions from newsmen, Jideonwo said some institutions which could not participate in the 36th edition of the fair  because of some reasons, assured they would be part of the 37Th edition of the fair.

He disclosed that the 36Th edition attracted many investors , business partners and exchange of ideas and contacts 

Highlights of the event were presentation of awards to outstanding institutions. Dangote Industries got  the Bronze sponsorship award, the Nigerian Breweries received sponsorship award. Central Bank of Nigeria got the Bankers Bank of the Fair, ANAMCO got the outstanding auto mobile of the fair award, while Masters Energy received Outstanding lubricant company of the fair, among others.

Exhibitors thanked God for a successful trade fair. They also thanked ECCIMA and Enugu state government for their efforts in develop the trade fair  complex and for providing security.

They prayed God to continue to protect ECCIMA, the partners, participants  and Enugu state Government , assuring that they will participate in the 37Th edition of the fair.
