Landmark group partners Enugu to revitalize Nike Lake Resort Hotel

As one of the measures put in place in making Enugu state a tourist hub in the country and beyond , Enugu state government, Wednesday, signed an agreement with Landmark group, a leading real estate and property development company in Africa, for the revitalization of the Nike Lake Resort Hotel, Enugu.

At the event held at Government House,Enugu and witnessed by the state Governor,Dr. Peter Mbah, and the Secretary to the state Government, Prof Chidiebere Onyia, the Commissioner for Trade and Investment, Mrs Adaora Chukwu signed on behalf of the state government and the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, , Landmark Group, Mr Paul Onwuanibe signed for his organisation.

Speaking , the state Governor, Dr Peter Mbah said Nike Lake Resort is very important to the people of the state. He promised to provide necessary infrastructure for smooth operations of the hotel .

Governor Mbah disclosed that his target to attract over three million people to the state from across the globe was intentional and would not be compromised, hinting that he would not relent in his efforts to makie Enugu a premier destination for investment, business and living.

“Hence there would be no reason for failures”, he said

Earlier ,, the Managing Director/Chief Executive officer of the Landmark Group, Paul Onwuanibe thanked Governor Mbah for the opportunity given his company to partner Enugu state government in t’s developmental vision. .

He promised to turn around Nike Resort, creat jobs for the youth and increase the Gross Domestic Products of the state. He assured that Nike Lake Resort would soon become a hub for tourism, leisure and hospitality.
