A Socio,- Cultural group, Nsukwu National Union, NNU, ( Women’s wing), Idemmili North, Anambra state, Nigeria has elected new Executives to paddle the affairs of the union for the next three years.

Presenting the newly elected Executives led by the National Chairperson, Dr. Maureen Ikpeama to home and abroad members on Monday, December 30Th during the 5Th National Convention of the Union held at the IkeGod Etokwudo hall, Oye Ezigwe, the immediate past National chairperson, Mrs Josephine Nwokolo thanked members for the support given to her executives in the past six years
She told members that online arm of the Union (meeting of abroad and diaspora members) held it’s election on December 17 ,2024 according to the constitution which saw the emergence of the following :

in her remarks, the newly elected National Chairperson, Dr. Ikpeama, thanked members for voting them to oversee the affairs of the Union for the next three years. She thanked God for various development witnesses in the community. She also thanked their sponsors, donors and the immediate past Executives for the job well done.

The National Chairperson called for support of every member both home, abroad and those in diaspora. She urged them to work towards achieving peace in the community, noting that it is only through peace that there will be progress
Dr. Ikpeama disclosed that some problems affecting the community had been identified and programmes to tackle them will be unveiled in no distance time.
Highlight of the event was distribution of bags of rice to all members present at the Convention. Over 300 members were in attendance.
