Chairman of the Science Technical and Vocational Schools Management Board STVSMB, Enugu, Dr Amaka Ngene has urged workers of the board to be committed to their duties, build heathy relationships and work as a team inorder to achieve excellency.
She made the call on Friday in her speech at the maiden edition of staff Christmas party she organise at the board’s, hall ,in Enugu.

She said the aim of the get together was for workers to come together outside the official hours, interact with one another and build relationship with their co- workers , noting that they spend more time at the office than they spend at and to see themselves as members of the same family .. She urged them to work as a family, and be productive.
Dr Ngene thanked them for their commitment and support in 2024 which made them to record successes this year. She said they participated in this year’s Civil service week, where they performed well and and successfully hosted the Gender Based Violence GBV event
She announced that approval had been given for Girls secondary school to accommodate day students to enable those who could not be in boarding to go go to Technical school . She also disclosed that the board will take over the management of boarding schools .
For the yelutide, Dr Ngene urged the workers to ” remember the good spirit of giving and the spirit of joy .She urged the workers to be committed and strive for excellence. .
Workers who were visibly happy thanked the chairman for organizing the party. They assured more commitment to their duties and support next year.
