Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate for Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu state, Hon Sidney Edeh has commended voters in his Local Government for coming out enmasse to cast their votes in the Saturday’s Local Government elections, promising to embark on massive infrastructural development in the Local Government .

He made that known while speaking to newsmen on his assessment of the just concluded Local Government elections held Saturday across the 17 Local Government areas of the state.
He said,” Today is election day. The materials arrived on time.They despatched the materials to various wards and I had gone there to cast my vote for myself and and for my Party. So, so far so good . Everything went on well “.
On the turn-out of voters , he said,” going by the turn out of voters in my polling unit, if that was replicated in other polling units, I believe the turn out is massive, ” Edeh said.
Hon Edeh, who was the immediate past Chairman of Nkanu East Local Government Area and former Enugu state chairman of the Association of Local Government Of Nigeria(ALGON), said there were some projects he did not complete in his first tenure, which he will complete if voted into office for second tenure..
“As you can see, this is a growing Local Government. Look by my right, you will see a hall that is not completed.If you look this way, you will see a podium, a collapse podium. Just like the Governor is doing wonder at the state level, we will complement it by bringing down development to our people. So, there are many things to do for our people and we are going to do that if I win.
Hon. Edeh said he will extend hands of fellowship to his rivals if he wins “and if his rival wins, he will congratulate him .”We are brothers . It’s a win ,win, thing”, Hon. Edeh said
