Evangelical Church Winning All( ECWA) Worldwide, says it will establish Pharmaceutical company , invest in education and hospitality in Enugu State,. The Church commended the State Governor ,Dr. Peter Mbah on his developmental strides in the state, seeking partnership with Enugu state Government .
The Church President, His Eminence, Rev. Dr. Job Ayuba Bagat disclosed that to newsmen on Friday, when he led a delegation of ECWA leaders on a courtesy visit on the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah in Government House Enugu.
He said he was in Enugu. for ecclesiastical function, to identify with the people of Enugu and to congratulate the Governor of Enugu state on his successful election.as well as to commend him for his good works “that have changed the narrative in the stat, ” he said.
The Clergy disclosed that he was impressed with what he saw and wanted to identify with the State Government saying, ” they are actually out to ensure that they deliver the dividends of democracy to their people. It is something worthy of note, worthy of praise “.
On the call for ECWA to invest in Enugu State, the President said, “We are yet to throw out the blueprint but I can assure the people of Enugu state that by the grace of God, we will partner with them in the area of Pharmaceutical company, which is going to add value to what this government is doing and we also want to invest in the area of education , of course hospitality through guest houses by the grace of God” Bagat said.
He earlier informed Governor Mbah that he was in Enugu for a number of Ecclesiastical functions, being the President of the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) worldwide.
Rev Dr. Bagat commended Governor Mbah for keeping to his campaign promises ,which included, “the provision of Water within 180 days in office the completion of over 70 urban roads as well as the many ongoing constructions of over 140 roads in Enugu State, the construction of Ultra Modern Mega Ashphalt Plant in the State, the construction of Smart Schools in the 260 Wards in Enugu State, the improved security network and Installation of CCTV cameras within Enugu metropolis and the approval and the acceptance to host the 4th Quarter CAN National Executive Council Meeting in November 2024, among others.
He thanked Governor Mbah for his prompt response and firm promise to relocate and assist them in rebuilding ECWA Church, Abakpa with her model school..
“By these acts, you have demonstrated your love for God and the Church of Jesus Christ, and I am convinced that God has strategically placed you in this powerful position so that you may exert a Christian influence and thereby transform the state on the basis of biblical values and principles.

He made some appeals to the state government assuring that ECWA shall add value to the administration, partner with it in transforming the Socio-economic lives of the people of the State and beyond
Responding, Governor Mbah , who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Ifeanyi Ossai, told the ECWA President of his administration’s commitment to partnering genuine investors, who aimed at growing the economy of the state and bettering the lives of the citizens.
Governor Mbah lamented the manner and ways some people destroyed public utilities including burning of tyres on the roads during Christmas. He appealed to Church leaders to use their positions to educate the citizens on the dangers of damaging the tarred roads
Accompanying the president were the Enugu State CAN Chairman, Rev Amb. Emmanuel O Edeh, the Chairman of ECWA Enugu District Church Council Rev. Chinedu Okechukwu , his Special Assistant, Rev. Ayhok Avusu among others.
