Chairman of Uzo-uwanu Local Government Area of Enugu State,Hon. Chukwudi Nnadozie has taken governance of the area to a higher level, tackling the issues of insecurity by building a Police station at Adani, Anti-Kidnapping post at Opanda-Nimbo.,beefing up security in the area.
Nnadozie Tuesday, , took the delegations of the Nigetia Union of Journalists (NUJ) Nigeria Labour Congress( NLC) and the Civil Society Organizations (CSO)who were in the area on a Good Governance tour, round some of the projects executed by his administration.
He said the Police station and Anti- Kidnapping post were built to boost security of the area and to provide a conducive environent for the security operatives.

The newly constructed Police station, Adani, has a hall and quarters for the Divisional Police Officer( DPO) and other officers. Nnadozie said the Police station was 95 percent completed and will be handed over in December,2023.
The chairman built a 2.7km ashphalted road in Adani. He reconstructed the collasped Asaba bridge and installed a 300km transformer, . Nnadozie also replaced 25 electric poles that fell along Ogurugu road.

Others include grading of 2.3km Adani- Umueje Road to Onitsha Expressway., sinking of borehole at Uwani-Areji, village Ugbene-Ajima ,among others.
